So now it’s just the waiting game. I am stuck here in the
hospital as my counts continue to drop, and then SLOWLY recover. The doctors
are still open to letting me go home early if things remain uneventful….no
fevers, infections and so on. Oh how I am praying for that!
Today is my hubby’s birthday, and he gets to spend it on
the road as his football team travels to Albany, GA for their game tomorrow. Guess
it’s better than spending it in the hospital! Although I know he rather be here
with me. My sister baked Braxton a cake so we “celebrated” in my room last
night with a couple of friends. It was fun! I love Braxton so much. Talk about
for better or for worse and in sickness and in health. He has been there for me
through it all.
The doctors and nurses have been so great here. Not only am
I receiving great care, but they have been so cooperative in letting me go
spend time with Londynn. Like I had mentioned before, they have a strict
protocol and don’t really like to steer away from it. But I have been able to
see my sweet baby for 2-3 hours each morning. It’s in no means enough time, but
I will take it.
Thank you all!
